Exploring the Hometown of Chibi Maruko-chan: Shimizu, Shizuoka

Shimizu in Shizuoka, the hometown of Chibi Maruko-chan's creator, is not a very popular tourist destination. The main reason for this visit was to see the Chibi Maruko-chan Museum. Upon arriving at Shimizu Station, you can already see many elements of Chibi Maruko-chan. The museum itself is not very large and is located within a shopping mall. Although the exhibits are not numerous, it is still a great spot for taking photos and having fun. If you are a fan of Chibi Maruko-chan, you will likely find the exhibitions about the creator's life and creative process very interesting and even touching.
