🧸Kumamoto City has a symbol of the city, Kumamon, a friendly red-cheeked black bear. If you come to this city, don't miss taking a picture with the bear. There are bears all over the city, especially in tourist areas.
🎌Kumamoto Castle, one of the 3 greatest castles in Japan, has just reopened for visitors not long ago because it had to be closed for major renovations due to the 2016 earthquake. The black castle is very magnificent. The area around the castle is also
very spacious.
🍜On the way to Kumamoto Castle, there are places selling food and souvenirs.
🚗We took the Shinkansen from Shin Osaka and got off at Kumamoto St. It took only 40 minutes.
