The Red Lotus Sea is a large natural pond filled with millions of red lotus flowers, covering the water's surface as far as the eye can see. It's been hailed as one of the most beautiful flower viewing spots in the world by CNN Travel.

❗️ A must-see highlight is the stunning blooms of the lotus flowers, which cover the water's surface from December to February each year. The best time to visit is before 6:00 AM, as the flowers are in full bloom in the morning, and by around 11:00 AM, they begin to close. Early arrivals are best for watching the sunrise and capturing the beautiful morning light. The weather is also pleasantly cool. Unfortunately, the day we visited was overcast. In addition to the beautiful lotus flowers, we also witnessed numerous birds foraging in the morning and the locals' livelihoods along the river.

Main Viewpoint: Ban Diem Pier, the main boat service point for the Red Lotus Sea. There are several piers to choose from. To see the Red Lotus Sea, we'll need to take a boat ride, which takes about an hour per round. There are two boat sizes to choose from: a small boat (accommodating up to 2 people) for 300 baht per round, and a large boat for 500 baht per round. (⚠️Life jackets are provided.
