Kunming Tea Horse Garden Resort | A Secret Mountain Retreat, a Hidden Peach Blossom Land Filled with the Fragrance of Tea*

✨ The "Fairy Abode" Hidden in Kunming's Western Hills Scenic Area
Who says Kunming is just a transit stop? This garden hotel nestled halfway up the Western Hills completely changed my perception! Backed by the lush Western Hills and facing the shimmering Dianchi Lake, the white-walled and blue-tiled buildings are surrounded by vibrant flowers and greenery, like a scene straight out of "To the Windy Place." In the morning, open the window to see the sea of clouds over Dianchi Lake; in the evening, watch the city lights of Kunming come alive—who can understand this kind of romance!

🛏️ Room Experience: Various Unique Private Hot Spring Rooms
The "Dianchi Lake View Suite" we stayed in was amazing!
✅ 180° floor-to-ceiling windows facing Dianchi Lake, on clear days you can even see the water droplets on the lotus leaves clearly
✅ Bedding made of soft, comfortable pure cotton, with the scent of sun-dried grass and wood when you turn over
✅ The room features a small tea table offering free specialty teas like raw and ripe Pu'er, and the bathtub is even equipped with rose petals—an experience that’s simply perfect!

🍜 Foodie Guide
▪️ Must-try breakfast: small pot rice noodles + freshly baked flower cakes (the rose filling is picked fresh that day!)
▪️ Hidden menu: mushroom hot pot by reservation, matsutake and chicken mushrooms are delivered directly from Chuxiong cold chain
▪️ Plus various local Yunnan snacks waiting for you to discover

📌 Practical Tips
· Transportation: Taxi or subway from downtown can reach directly; check-in after 16:00 to catch the stunning sunset
· Season: The garden is in full bloom from May to October; in November, you can enjoy the seagulls at Dianchi Lake
· Suitable for: vacation stays / couples’ dates / healing and relaxation / light hiking enthusiasts

This stay made me fall in love with Kunming all over again! If you’re tired of the same old city hotels, come here and be a "mountain dweller" for a couple of days~
