⛩️ Golden Palace (Taihegong)

The Taihegong Palace, or Golden Palace, in Kunming, Yunnan Province, is located at the foot of Mingfeng Mountain, about 8 kilometers east of Kunming. It is said to be the largest and most complete Golden Palace in China. It was constructed with over 380 tons of brass, earning it the nickname "Golden Palace."

The architecture's antiquity, coupled with the cold climate, with temperatures not exceeding 5°C, makes the place seem chilly year-round, as if we've truly traveled back in time to ancient China.

Besides the Golden Palace, the surrounding area also boasts many other interesting attractions, including:
🛎 The 2.1-meter-long hanging bell tower, weighing 14 tons,
and over 500 years old.
⛩️ The Seven-Star Magic Sword Exhibition Hall,
1.94 meters long and weighing over 20 kilograms, a mythical treasure of Taoism.
🛕 The Kuixinglou Hall, enshrined within, houses the Kuixing Deity, a divine scribe.
Or the Civilized God, the deity stands on the back of a giant dragon turtle with one leg,
the other leg raised behind his back. He holds a brush in his left hand and a millstone in his right hand (a carpenter's tool for drawing straight lines).
