A Must-Visit in Kunming This Autumn

Strolling Through Kunming’s Autumn Days 🌿|A Two-Day, One-Night Secret Getaway

Who says you can only visit Kunming in spring? Autumn is actually the most charming season in this city! Taking advantage of the gentle autumn breeze, I checked in at Kunming Botanical Garden and a nearby hidden gem hotel. Here’s a heartfelt share of this off-the-beaten-path experience for you~

First stop: straight to Kunming Botanical Garden!
📍 No. 132 Lanhei Road, the ticket is only 10 yuan, really affordable
The early autumn botanical garden looks like a spilled palette 🎨, with maple leaves as red as fire, pines and cypresses shining green, and along the boardwalk you can find small fountains. The garden is right next to Black Dragon Pool, where the water and trees intertwine beautifully for great photos. It’s recommended to wear light-colored clothes for an artsy photo shoot~ Don’t forget sunscreen and mosquito repellent, Kunming’s UV rays are very intense✨

Highly recommend this amazing hotel!
🏨 Anshe·Kaimili Hotel (No. 86 Dongfeng East Road)
The French light luxury design perfectly matches my aesthetic! The location is excellent, right in the C86 Camellia Cultural and Creative District, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. The staff proactively help with luggage, and the room even provides bath salts and disposable bathtub bags 🧺 Smart home features are super convenient, check-in includes afternoon tea, and you can enjoy a special rice noodle breakfast~

✨ Handy Tips:
1️⃣ The botanical garden has two opening periods (see above for details), don’t miss out
2️⃣ It’s recommended to take Metro Line 3 to the Western Bus Station and then taxi, much faster than the bus
3️⃣ The hotel occasionally hosts art exhibitions, keep an eye on official updates
4️⃣ Remember to visit Nanping Street night market in the evening, grilled tofu and iced rice porridge are a perfect match
