"Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter"
Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture
14-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station
I visited here for the first time in a few years.
With its white-walled streets and historic buildings dating back to the Edo period, this is a popular tourist spot.
The Kurashiki River is lined with cafes and other shops renovated from traditional townhouses, rickshaws, and riverboats.
A few years ago, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were few tourists and some shops were closed. This time, I was surprised to see so many tourists and an increase in the number of shops.
It was a great spot to spend the whole day visiting interesting shops and strolling around the townscape.
It was cloudy, so it was a bit dark, which was a shame...( ・᷄-・᷅ )
It's close to the station, and it's a town I'd love to visit again! ¨̮♡
