【Kusatsu City】Kusatsu Onsen

Kusatsu Onsen is known as one of Japan's three famous springs. In the center of the hot spring town, which is filled with the scent of sulfur, there is a Yubatake (hot water field). Every minute, 4,000 liters of hot spring water gushes out, and steam is always rising.
There are also footbaths and hand baths around the Yubatake, and you can enjoy strolling around.
Indeed, there are many foreigners, and the area around the Yubatake is crowded with stylish eateries and souvenir shops. The streets are narrow and sloped, and it can get very crowded depending on the time of day.
The hot spring water, being rich in sulfur, felt very effective.
