Hosooka Observatory is an observation deck where you can see the meandering Kushiro River and Mount Oakan and Mount Meakan in front of you on a clear day.
It is about 500m away from the adjacent visitor's lounge. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, but even in the rain the view was magnificent.
If you are visiting by rental car, please be careful as there are narrow roads along the way.
