Located on the banks of the Wenliang River in Dongguan, Nanyang's central urban area, the Temple of the Medical Saint commemorates the great Eastern Han Dynasty physician Zhang Zhongjing. The main entrance features Han Dynasty architectural style, boasting a rigorous and imposing layout. The golden glazed tiles on the roof are dazzling. The three characters " Medical Saint Temple " written by Mr. Guo Moruo in December 1952 are powerful and radiant.

The mausoleum and shrine complex covers 3,200 square meters and includes the main hall, east and west side halls, a passage hall, a worship hall, the tomb of Zhongjing, the Chuntai Pavilion, the Qiufeng Pavilion, the Xingfangzhai, the Zhiyuanzhai, the Renshu Hall, the Guangji Hall, the Zhongsheng Hall, the Shoushan Hall, the mountain gate, a hexagonal pavilion, the Medical Saint Well, a lotus pond, statues of famous doctors from past dynasties, the east and west stele corridors, the main gate, and the Han Dynasty que.
