Kibune River

This is the view of the Kifune River on the way from the Kifune bus stop to Kifune Shrine. It's a small river, but it has a strong presence.

There are several temples and shrines in this area, including Kifune Shrine and Kurama Temple.

Although it is in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, the altitude is slightly higher and it is deep in the mountains, so the temperature feels about 10℃ lower than in the center of Kyoto City♪ It is surrounded by greenery and is very cool near the river🌱

Access: Take the Kyoto Bus from the bus stop in front of the station "Kokusai Kaikan Station" on the Karasuma subway line to Kifuneguchi, then take the Kyoto Bus to Kifune, get off and walk for 5 minutes
