From Kyoto Station to Hikone Castle in Shiga Prefecture

Kyoto Station is one of the major railway hubs in Kansai. Rather than calling it a railway hub, it's more of a one-stop, comprehensive railway hub. In addition to the Shinkansen, JR lines, the Airport Express, the city's circular route, and inter-district and inter-prefectural bus routes, Kyoto Station also boasts an opera house, an underground shopping mall, and a large department store, providing a comprehensive destination for travelers, tourists, and locals alike.

At night, Kyoto Tower becomes a dazzling luminescent pearl, illuminating the entire Kyoto Station.

This trip was rushed to Hikone City in Shiga Prefecture, so I didn't spend much time at Kyoto Station. However, my brief encounter with Kyoto Station was truly breathtaking!
