Hike through a thousand inscribed gates 😍

Fushimi Inari is famous for its thousands of inscribed red gates leading up to and around Mount Inari. There are multiple shrines along the way with Fushimi Inari being the most important.

The joy of this small hike is in it’s beauty and serenity. I went very early in the morning (its open 24hrs with no entrance fee) and i was one of the only people walking around. It felt very special. I’ve heard it gets much busier as the day goes on though.
