Experience the real Japan in Kyoto 🇯🇵

Getting There - Kyoto is really accessible from major cities like Osaka, Hiroshima, and Tokyo. From Osaka you can take a local train or from Tokyo you can take the Shinkansen. 🚅

Attractions - Once the capital of Japan, Kyoto has so much to do. Hike up Mount Inari to hundreds of torii gates.⛩️ If it gets too hot for hiking, head to Gion District for for some shopping 🛍️and dining. 🍜

Hotels - I’d recommend staying in a hotel near Kyoto station. The station is a good base to take the bus or subway to different sites around Kyoto. Also, it’s super convenient if you want to travel to Nara, Osaka, or Kansai Airport. Also the land here is flat so it’s easy to walk to your hotel if you have a lot of luggage. I stayed in the Ala hotel which was super nice and has a hot spring (unfortunately I couldn’t use it as I have tattoos 🥲)

Food & Restaurants - If you love ramen then be sure to check out the “ramen street” on the 10th floor above Kyoto station. There are so many ramen restaurants and different types of ramen. I basically lives here for three days. I attached my two favorites in the pictures. I’m not sure of the restaurant names but everything has pictures so just walk around and see what you think looks good.

Other attractions to check out:

Yasaka Shrine
Yasaka Pagoda
Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
Kibune

There is so much to do in the city and it’s a great place to just unwind! Have fun!
