Among the popular tourist spots in Arashiyama, the popular cafe "Bread, Espresso and Arashiyama Garden" is a must-have. It is located a little away from the main street, but it is visited by tourists from both Japan and abroad. The cafe is open from 8:00 in the morning, and the take-out bakery is located in an adjacent facility and opens from 10:00. We were the 15th group there at 9:00 in the morning, but you can enter your desired seat (indoors or on the veranda) into the ticket machine and leave the place. However, the turnover is quick and it is a little far from the main street, so it is recommended to wait on the premises while looking at the garden.
This time I ordered a brunch tea set, which is like afternoon tea.
Each piece was delicious and I was very satisfied.
The amount of bread is large, so they prepare a bag for you to take it home in advance. It was a nice thought.
It is quite a large portion, so I think one brunch tea set and one additional drink will be enough for two adults.
Pets are allowed on the veranda seats. It is also recommended for going out with pets!
