⛩️ Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of the most important tourist attractions in Kyoto. It is famous for its tens of thousands of red torii gates or gates behind the shrine. Inari represents fertility, rice harvests, and various crops. Foxes are often his companions, so there are many fox statues inside the shrine.

⛩️ We traveled by train and got off at Fushimi Inari Station. On the way to the shrine, there were many shops on both sides of the road. When we went, it was New Year's, so there were a lot of people. Most of them came to pray.

⛩️ There are many torii gates to take pictures. You have to walk up the stairs. If you are tired and can't walk, there are places to sit and rest. Walked to the top and then walked under the torii gates because there were a lot of people.

⛩️ After walking under the torii gates and praying to the gods, we headed back. On the way back, we passed an ice cream shop and saw that there were a lot of people, so we stopped to eat and regain our energy. This trip, my legs were a bit tired and exhausted because there were a lot of people. If anyone wants a beautiful picture of the torii gate, I recommend coming on a weekday. For this trip, I will take a break to get a massage first.

Take the Keihan Main Line and get off at Fushimi-Inari Station. Walk for another 5 minutes (use the KYOTO-OSAKA SIGHTSEEING PASS to get in for free).
