Kyoto Tower is the tallest tower in Kyoto, 328 feet high, and is a landmark of Kyoto. Inside, there is a beautiful 360-degree viewpoint of the city, overlooking the entire city of Kyoto. The shape and overall color of the tower are designed to resemble traditional Japanese candles, with a structure that can withstand earthquakes and large typhoons.

Kyoto Tower is located next to Kyoto Station, in a nine-story building known as the Kyoto Tower Building. In addition to the observation deck, which is a viewpoint, there are also Kyoto Tower Sando Department Store, Kyoto Tower Hotel, Tourist Information Center, and many other shops.

Kyoto Tower is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is 800 yen for adults, 650 yen for high school students, 550 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and 150 yen for children under 6 years old.

📍How to get there: Take the train to Kyoto Station, exit at the Karasuma Central Exit, and use the underground passage to enter the tower.
