The Ninomaru Garden is a garden built for academy students. It is said that the garden displays the immortal world of Penglai, and is also known as the "Garden of Eight Formations". The design of the palace when Emperor Go-Mizunoo visited the country was a courtyard surrounded by the newly built Gyoko Palace, Chugu Palace, Nagatsuna and other buildings. There was a pavilion in the pond, and there were three islands and four bridges in the center of the pond.
