[Yakushima] Jomon Cedar Trekking Tour

I went on a tour to Jomon Sugi, which is one of the things I want to do while I'm alive!

The tour guide came to pick me up by bus at 4am and we started climbing at 6am. It took 12 hours to walk, 6 hours each way!

Unlike Mt. Fuji, we didn't climb many slopes, but even though the road was flat, walking for 12 hours was very tough.

There were many photo spots before we reached Jomon Sugi, so we enjoyed the walk 😊

I still can't forget the taste of the natural spring water I filled up with a plastic bottle and drank when it was hot and thirsty.

And when I saw Jomon Sugi with my own eyes, I was captivated by the mystical beauty that I can't put into words.

I still treasure the photo from that time, and I use it as my smartphone wallpaper.

Looking back, it was a tough 12 hours, but I'm really glad I was able to see Jomon Sugi with my bare eyes!

It's a place you should visit at least once in your life.
