If you're looking to escape the city and experience a quieter atmosphere, I highly recommend Kyoto. ❤️ Since I was traveling with my mom, we stayed one night in Osaka and two in Kyoto. While Osaka's cityscape and nightscape were both amazing, my mom loved Kyoto even more... Perhaps it was the tranquility of its natural beauty and scenery. 🌳 The puffy clouds were beautiful, the Korean-style sailboat-like boats floating on the river were lovely, and the flowers scattered throughout the area created a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere that I absolutely loved. Arashiyama's lush bamboo forest is also a great photo opportunity. While it might seem like there's nothing but bamboo, the traditional Japanese buildings in the middle make for a wonderful sight to see :) Of course, the air is also very fresh, thanks to the bamboo forest. 🧚🏻♂️ You'll need to take a train from Osaka to Kyoto, but there's something magical about enjoying a Japanese bento box while admiring the scenery outside the train. If you're planning a trip to Osaka, I highly recommend visiting nearby Kyoto.
