🏮What is the Gion Festival? It is one of the three major festivals in Japan and is a festival of Yasaka Shrine with over 1,000 years of history.

It is held for the whole month of July, but the main event is the Yamahoko procession on the 17th (first festival) and the 24th (last festival). The "Yamahoko Event of the Kyoto Gion Festival" is also registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage! ✨

🥡Food stallsThere are surprisingly many places where food stalls are and are not, so if you find one, you should eat there! I was wondering if there was still some left, but when I walked down the street it was gone in an instant, and I thought to myself, "I should have eaten more earlier..."🤣
