Kyoto Nijo Castle UNESCO World Heritage Site

The castle consists of two concentric rings (Kuruwa) of fortifications, the Ninomaru Palace, the ruins of the Honmaru Palace. It was built in 17th century and in use till 1939. Be prepared to spend a few hours if you want to have the full experience. It can be done within 1-2 hours but you definitely want to come back for more! P.s. the noodle is really nice and delicious lol!
