This magical temple located in northern Kyoto and easy to reach by bus and stop at Yase Ekimae bus stop or you could take train by stopping at Yase-Hieizanguchi station then take 5 minutes walk to the temple.

This place is surrounded by beautiful nature with crystal clear water river and authentic Japanese style garden which will give you peaceful vibes by the time you step in the entrance. You will be welcoming by the maple trees which display astonishing scenery collaborating with the historical building and traditional Japanese garden around the temple.

This is a highly recommended if you happened to visit Kyoto. Try outside usual tourist spot by getting here as your destination. Once you have been there, it will leaves you an awe experience!
