The autumn foliage season in Kyoto usually runs from early November to early December.
As autumn deepens, you can encounter beautiful autumn foliage.
Rurikoin
This is a branch temple of the Jodo Shinshu Muryojusan Komyoji temple, whose head temple is in Gifu. It is usually closed to the public, but is open to the public in spring and autumn.
In autumn, the contrast between the autumn leaves and the moss is very beautiful. You can encounter various expressions of autumn foliage, such as the "Sanroji Garden" that continues from the gate, the "Ruri Garden" that can be seen from the Shoin, and the "Garyu Garden" with its dynamic water flow and stonework. In particular, the autumn leaves reflected on the floor of the Shoin are so beautiful that you will be left speechless.
