Rurikoin Temple is located about an hour by train and bus from Kyoto Station. I'm sure many of you have seen strange photos of maple leaves reflecting.
I was surprised when I went there! I thought it was a reflection in a mirror, but it was actually reflected in a shiny desk, making it look like this. Therefore, if you look at it from a slightly different angle, it is a room with a normal large desk.
At Rurikoin Temple, you can try writing sutras on paper, and it is a very fun and relaxing place that is different from other temples.
Previously, you could enter the temple without a reservation, but now it seems that you need to reserve a viewing ticket twice a year, around May when the green maples look beautiful, and during the autumn foliage season, so be careful! !
