I'll tell you about the Kyoto cherry blossom travel points in early April~!
The 3rd photo is the weeping cherry blossoms near the Konoe Residence in Kyoto Koen.
Unlike the cherry blossoms in Korea, the long, hanging cherry blossoms are really pretty.
After going to Kyoto Koen, just cross the street to Doshisha University (photos 4-7)
It's a great course to see the Yun Dong-ju and Jeong Ji-yong poetry monuments inside Doshisha University. Doshisha University is also an old university, so the red brick buildings are really pretty.
If you have enough time, the Kamo River nearby is really nice (there's also a stepping stone bridge),
so it's good to take a walk along the Kamo River~
The 8th photo is a photo of the cherry blossom light-up at Maruyama Park.
At that time, there were a lot of street vendors in the park, so I really enjoyed people watching^^ It's great to enjoy the cherry blossoms together at night~
The last photo is the cherry blossoms along the Takase River near Shijo Kawaramachi, and it's really pretty here at night.
If you look closely at the last photo, there's a heron. I've always seen it here since I've been to Kyoto 3 times recently~~^^
I've also been to Kiyomizu-dera, but I think Kiyomizu-dera is much prettier during the fall foliage season^^;
I've been to Kyoto in spring, summer, and fall, but they all have their own charms. I want to come back to Kyoto again^^
My recommended summer Kyoto place is Arashiyama, and my recommended fall places are Eikando and Kiyomizu-dera^^
