🍃 Kyoto Tenryuji Temple, a moment when even your mind becomes clear 🌸

I visited Tenryuji on a spring day when cherry blossoms were fluttering. I stayed in Arashiyama for 3 nights and 4 days, so I had plenty of time to see everything.

But when I actually went there, I thought I could see Tenryuji, Arashiyama Park, and Chikurin all in one day.

My travel order was Nonomiya Shrine > Chikurin > Tenryuji > Kimono Forest!

When you go up to Chikurin, you will come out at the back gate instead of the main gate of Tenryujin. Go in there and come out the other way to the main gate.

Or, you can go into Tenryuji, see Chikurin, and then come out towards Arashiyama Park.

The serene garden of Tenryuji and the scenery created by the old trees were like a sumi-e painting.

In particular, the bamboo forest and blue sky reflected in the lake were more beautiful to see with your eyes than in a photo.

There was a long bench🪑 in front of the garden, so although there were many people, you could sit and look at the garden and watch the beautiful scene of a brief shower🌧️ falling into the garden!

As you slowly walk around the inside of the temple, your mind naturally becomes calm, and it was a special time to take a deep breath and escape from your tiring daily life.

It is a temple that calms your mind. Every garden is different and beautiful.

🕰️ If you visit early in the morning, you can quietly appreciate the temple. I visited in the afternoon, but there were really a lot of people.

It is so large that only the main points were crowded, but I recommend visiting in the morning if possible!

If you are traveling to Kyoto, Tenryuji is a must-visit healing spot. I highly recommend it! 💯
