Aman Kyoto is located in the Takagamine district of Kyoto's northern ward, nestled within a forest, very close to Kinkaku-ji Temple. It is also surrounded by at least 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The spacious and bright rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows as a highlight, offering beautiful views of the courtyard and forest. The Japanese-style wooden bathtubs in the rooms are also quite special, crafted from cypress wood.
