FU-KA Ginkakuji
✔️ Business hours 11:30 ~ 15:00 (Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

When planning a trip, I wanted to try Japanese omelet rice, so I searched Google for a restaurant near the Philosopher's Walk that was on my itinerary and found this place.

I chose it because it had a Google rating of 4.7 points, thinking it would be delicious.

It's not on a street with many shops on the way up to Ginkakuji Temple, but between houses, so I think I went looking for it while wondering if it was the right place.

At first, I was a little confused about the entrance (I don't know Japanese lol), but fortunately, I recognized it right away and when I went in, it was a little past mealtime, so I was able to eat without waiting.

It was a restaurant run by an old grandmother and grandfather, and it had a warm feeling.

We ordered the basic omelet rice. It costs about 1,500 yen per person. There was no Korean menu, so I ordered with the help of pictures and Papago.

It felt like they were cooking it with care, and the food took a little It took a while, but the food came out warm enough to make smoke rise

The soft gyeram mixed with butter was really delicious

The white rice under the egg soaked in the sauce and balanced the saltiness of the sauce well

This is the best omelet rice in my life

The egg melted in my mouth and the food disappeared in an instant...
Really cool

I hope those who are on the itinerary for Eun-gak-sa Philosopher's Path go there

I give it 5 stars!!!!!
