If you’re visiting Kyoto during cherry blossom season, you absolutely cannot miss the magical experience of strolling through the city’s beautiful sakura spots at night. 🌙
I began my journey at Shichijo, meandering along the tranquil Takase River. The riverbanks are lined with sakura trees, and when the moonlight hits, the blossoms seem to glow. The soft ripples in the water reflect the delicate pink and white petals, creating a peaceful, almost surreal atmosphere. 🌸💫
Continuing along the river, I made my way to Shijo Kawaramachi, where the streets are lit with lanterns, enhancing the ethereal vibe of the night sakura. It’s not crowded at night, so you can enjoy the blossoms in peace, with the gentle breeze adding to the serenity. The trees here are stunning, their branches heavy with flowers, and walking through this area felt like stepping into a dream. 🌙✨
Finally, I reached Yasaka Shrine, where the iconic cherry trees surround the shrine grounds. The shrine at night, with its soft lighting and the sakura in full bloom, creates a stunning contrast that feels both spiritual and otherworldly. The petals gently drift down, creating a magical carpet of pink on the ground. It’s a perfect spot for reflection and taking in the beauty of Kyoto’s springtime tranquility. 🌸🙏#travel
