When you think of Kyoto, you think of temples, and when you think of temples, you think of Kyoto! While walking around Kyoto, the cherry blossoms were blooming and it was spectacular.

This time, I found a collaboration between Toji Temple and cherry blossoms in Kyoto!

✅1 Kujo-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture
→Kintetsu Kyoto Line, get off at Toji Station and walk for about 6 minutes (about 8 minutes from Kyoto Station)

I always see the long-awaited Toji Temple from the Shinkansen❗️

Toji Temple is a national temple (official temple) that was built when the capital was moved to Heian!

It is the only remaining relic of Heian-kyo,

and its official name is Kyoogokokuji Temple.

The temple grounds are filled with important cultural properties and national treasures, all of which I have only seen in textbooks.

I was particularly impressed by the five-story pagoda

It is 54.8m tall and its collaboration with the cherry blossoms was amazing!
