In addition to 31 artworks that guests can stay in, this hotel also features a staircase-style gallery called SCG, a shop, cafe, and bar, and hosts regular exhibitions and music events featuring artists from a variety of genres. ✨✨
This time, I stayed at Ryuichi Ohira's "Goen no Ma" installation. 💰💰💰
Concept: A golden wall of 5-yen coins. The 5-yen coin serves as a symbol of faith at shrines and temples. Ohira created a room in Kyoto, a city famous for its many shrines and temples, where the 5-yen coin and "fate" are connected. Ohira hopes to foster connections with past, present, and future guests and add to the hotel's history.
Guests can stick a 5 yen coin anywhere they like! 😆✨✨
All the bedding is decorated with a 5 yen pattern, making this room feel incredibly auspicious.♬
