It's fun just to look at the cityscape. It's far from the city center, so it's a good idea to combine it with Arashiyama. Also, if you're traveling with children, there are plenty of attractions to enjoy, so while it might be difficult to spend the whole day there, I think it's a place you can enjoy for a long time. Personally, I thought the ninja house and ninja maze were fun for both children and adults.

Since we visited on a weekday, it seemed less crowded, but even so, the dining area was full by lunchtime. I think it's best to stagger your meal times!
