Affordable hotels with great value in Kyoto

If you're looking for convenient, affordable accommodation in Kyoto, in a bustling yet quiet location, definitely bookmark "The OneFive Kyoto Shijo"! Our five-day trip to Kansai wasn't too long, but it was a relatively relaxed itinerary (perhaps?). So, when choosing accommodation, location (time is precious, so convenience is a must), comfort (clean and quiet), and value (budget is limited) were paramount. After my stay, I can only say—I was truly lucky to have booked this place! While there were some minor flaws, overall, I was very satisfied!

✅ Separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, with consistent hot water and strong water pressure
✅ Powerful hair dryer for quick drying of long hair
✅ Small but well-planned and spacious
✅ Plenty of outlets (lots), with phone charging and reading lights on both sides of the bed

The location is also very convenient. Overall, this hotel is perfect for travelers on a budget who prioritize location and quietness. While it doesn't demand fancy amenities, it does have everything you need. It's a quiet and comfortable stay, making it a rare value-for-money option in downtown Kyoto.
