📍Kinkaku-ji Temple
Also known as "Wan Thong" in Thai,
is another must-see landmark if you're in Kyoto.
True to its name, the striking golden building
stands on the waterfront, its reflection so beautiful that it's almost a reflection on the pond.
It's a stunning sight, beautiful no matter the season.
We visited in early summer, when the weather was still cool.
It was a relaxing stroll, no need to dress up.
The leaves were so lush and green, it was incredibly beautiful and shady.
There's also a Japanese garden inside for a leisurely stroll.
The walkways are beautifully arranged.
The atmosphere is peaceful and shady.
It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It's a must-see destination in Japan.
