It's less than a 10 minute walk from The Eddystar Hotel Kyoto Nijo Castle, which I often visit.
I've always wanted to go there, and I'm glad I did.
As I walked along the corridors of the castle, I was able to see what the rooms looked like and read the explanations of what each room was used for, which was quite educational and fun.
However, photography is not allowed inside the castle.
The gardens outside the castle are beautiful, and of course the castle itself is a wonderful piece of architecture, and the castle grounds are large and there are many things to see. #
