
Baligou Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of the Taihang Mountains, on the border of Henan and Shanxi provinces, 50 kilometers from Xinxiang City and 20 kilometers from Huixian City. It is only 120 kilometers from Zhengzhou, 160 kilometers from Luoyang, 130 kilometers from Kaifeng, and 140 kilometers from Shaolin Temple. Baligou boasts a unique terrain, with three levels of escarpments descending in layers, a series of peaks and jagged rocks. It boasts the majestic grandeur of Mount Tai, the beauty of Mount Huang, the soaring heights of Mount Song, and the precipitousness of Mount Hua, towering majestically and proudly.
Baligou boasts picturesque mountains and clear waters, quaint scenery, and pristine natural beauty. Forest coverage exceeds 90%, with 1,700 plant species and a pleasant climate with an average annual temperature of 14°C. Baligou Rafting is 1,200 meters long and has a 10-meter drop. Located amidst Baligou's picturesque Hundred Ponds and Hundred Waterfalls, the scenic area capitalizes on the natural waterscape of Three Creeks and Nine Bends, cascading waterfalls, and intertwined pools and waterfalls, as well as the majestic, uninterrupted Taihang Mountains. The rafting program is divided into two levels: Romantic Rafting and Warrior Rafting. Both dynamic and quiet activities are suitable for visitors of all ages.
Baligou has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate; summer is the best time for rafting. The air is fresh and refreshing, the mountain springs are sweet, and the environment is quiet. It is a "natural oxygen bar" and is very suitable for summer vacation.
