Takachiho Gorge

This place is located in Miyazaki Prefecture in the northwest of Miyazaki Prefecture, close to the center of the Kyushu Mountains, and is the origin of ancient Japanese mythology.

Many tourists come here for the beautiful wonderland. You can also rent a boat to tour the entire river. The view of the Manai Waterfall and the columnar joint cliffs from the river is a magnificent sight.

You can also walk along the path built in the canyon, overlooking the green water of the Gokase River and the rough rocks with columnar stone patterns, and enjoy the fun of walking while comparing the colors of the two.
