What a way to enter the new year

I personally can not think of a better way to spend beginning of the new year than a weeks skiing in Italy, these photos where taken in the Espace san Bernardo ski resort, a large ski area that has a wide range of runs for all skill levels over the French/ Italian border. I stayed in a village called la Thuile which is the Italian side of the ski area. La thuile its self is a charming village with a wide range of restaurants (mostly at a very affordable price!) that offer great Italian food.
