🚞 Khun Tan 2 Days 1 Night, "Missed the Train" Edition
This trip started with a bang… I missed the train! 😂 So we had to change plans and take a bus from Mo Chit to Chiang Mai, then take a train for another hour to Khun Tan Railway Station (an iconic spot everyone must stop for photos 📸).

But the excitement didn't end there. One friend withdrew, leaving the other two to continue on. 555 🥹

From the station, we started walking to the park headquarters. The road was a mix of asphalt and dirt (some parts were steep and slippery, so be careful). We didn't miss a chance to take a photo with Thanon Song Chang, the landmark in front of the park office. 🌲

After dropping off our luggage and listening to the staff's introduction, we continued up to Tent Site Y2… I must say, the road was pretty tough, especially before reaching the site. The pitch was incredibly steep, but the view along the way was stunning, making us stop and take photos all the time. 😍

Tent Site Y2 is a wide, peaceful area with few people. The day we visited, there weren't many people. Choose your own food! 🏕️ There are restrooms up here, but no restaurants. Bring your own food.

The next morning, I woke up at 4 a.m. and hiked up to the summit… I must say it's quite far and tiring, but if you have the energy, don't miss it! The sunrise view is absolutely stunning! 🌄 It's worth every drop of sweat!

Overall, this trip, although it started out as a "mistake," turned out to be a truly memorable one. 💚 If you're looking for a beginner's trek, and you're treated to a train ride ⛰️, a forest 🌲, and a stunning sunrise, Khun Tan is the ultimate destination!
