Doi Khun Tan National Park

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

⛰️Today, we're reviewing a #NatureTourism #RainySeasonTourism. Trekkers and mountain climbers will love this place. It's called "Doi Khun Tan National Park," and it's especially popular with adventurers who enjoy trekking during the rainy season. Many mountains are closed for safety reasons, but Khun Tan is accessible.

⛰️Khun Tan is known as an "easy-to-reach" mountain. The train takes you directly there, without the hassle of taking multiple transfers. However, that doesn't mean it's "easy to walk." The distance is quite far and there are many steep sections. With few porters, you'll need to carry your own luggage, especially if you want to sleep at the pine trees at the top. The ascent is very steep.

⛰️The highlight of this destination is the ascent to the summit of Doi Khun Tan and the walk to Tad Maei Waterfall. We recommend visiting on separate days, as both trails are very steep, especially the waterfall, which is a steep ascent and descent.

⛰️And if you visit during the rainy season, in addition to the sunrise, the highlight is the sea of mist. When we went, the sea of mist was everywhere. It was so beautiful!

⛰️The total distance from the train station to the tent site at Level 2, Tad Mue Waterfall, and Level 4 is approximately 18 km round trip.

📍Location: Doi Khun Tan National Park, Mae Tha District, Lamphun Province
