Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Woramahawihan 🛕 is one of the most important temples in Northern Thailand and is considered a symbol of Lamphun Province.
Located in Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lamphun Province, this Lanna-style chedi is gleaming gold and stands tall and majestic, visible from afar. It was built around the 17th Buddhist century during the reign of Queen Chamadevi, the first ruler of Hariphunchai.
Phra That Narai is considered the chedi for those born in the Year of the Rooster. Those born in the Year of the Rooster should pay homage to Phra That Hariphunchai at least once in their lifetime for good fortune and a boost in their fortune.
