Our Western Australia road trip takes us to the stunning Lancelin Sand Dunes!

It's about a 1 hour and 30-minute drive from Perth.

Sandboarding Rental Prices:

1 hour: 10 AUD
1.5 hours: 15 AUD
2 hours: 20 AUD
We spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes here.

Essential Tips:

Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a face mask are a must! ☀️🕶️😷 It gets incredibly sunny in the afternoon, so strong sun protection is crucial. Sunglasses and a mask are essential to keep sand out of your eyes and mouth when the wind picks up.
After parking, you'll need to walk a short distance to the sand dunes.
You can share sandboards! The walk from the entrance to the actual sandboarding area can be a bit far, so carrying individual boards back and forth might get tiring. Renting one to share is a good idea.
Besides sandboarding, you can also rent ATVs here. However, the real unique experience here is sandboarding on the pristine white sand. The sand is incredibly fine and the environment is very clean. Even if you don't go sandboarding, just coming here for photos will give you amazing, shareable shots! 📸
