Jinping Mountain EL+428
Formerly known as Qushan, the mountain is steep and covered with lush green trees. Its winding and undulating shape resembles ink and wash, and because the mountain's colors are as splendid as brocade and as beautiful as a painted screen, it was named Jinping Mountain by Emperor Kangxi. There are many ancient relics here, including the Paleolithic Taohuajian Site and the Neolithic General Cliff primitive rock paintings, making it the birthplace of ancient Haizhou civilization.
