Experience traditional Tibetan cuisine in Tibet|Must-try roasted lamb and sweet tea

Today, I visited a Tibetan-style restaurant near the Potala Palace called "Non-Heritage Clay Pot Tibetan Cuisine." The place is filled with Tibetan cultural elements, including stunning murals of the Potala Palace, making it a perfect spot for photos!

Start with a serving of barley cake and yak meat soup in a clay pot. Barley cake is a famous Tibetan snack with a texture somewhat similar to sticky radish cake, but this version is sweet—quite unique! Next, try the stir-fried potato shreds with yak meat. The tangy potato shreds paired with the richly flavored yak meat make for an incredibly satisfying dish! Yak meat, exclusive to the Tibetan plateau, is tender and full of flavor.

Another highly recommended dish is the innovative "Tiger Skin Yak Palm." It's packed with collagen and stewed to perfection—absolutely delicious! Finish off the meal with a "Kangba Beef Man" and a cup of Tibetan sweet tea for a truly authentic dining experience!
