Qiguanding, this is the Fujian branch of Rio de Janeiro.

When traveling to Fuzhou, I strongly recommend you to visit Lianjiang Qiguanding, which is known as the Fujian version of Rio de Janeiro. Not only can you enjoy the beautiful sea view, but you can also check in for various popular photos.

📍Geographical location: Located in Qida Village, Ankai Township, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.

🌟Basic Overview:
1️⃣Altitude: About 450 meters above sea level. The whole mountain is basically composed of rocks and a small amount of vegetation.
2️⃣Number of steps: There are 1,889 steps from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, which were donated by local celebrity Wu Deguan.

⛰️Landscape features:
1️⃣ Wonders of mountains and seas: Climbing to the top of the flag crown, you feel as if you are on top of the mountains and seas, and you can overlook the spectacular scenery of "mountains, sea, islands, and fishing villages". Before your eyes is the boundless ocean, sparkling and connected with the blue sky; the small island in the distance is looming, and fishing boats are shuttling among it nearby; at your feet is an ancient fishing village with well-arranged fishing rafts and a magnificent view of mountains and sea.
2️⃣Unique perspective: Dubbed by netizens as "the Chinese version of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro's Fuzhou version", taking photos standing on the huge rock on the top of the mountain can create a unique visual effect.

🏃Transportation route:
1️⃣ Self-driving: You can get there by navigating to "Qigunding". You can see a large stone pier at the foot of the mountain and there is a parking lot next to it. If you want to walk less, you can also drive along the winding mountain road to the bottom of the Qiguanding city wall, park, and then walk to the best viewing point, but there may be traffic restrictions during holidays when there is heavy traffic.
2️⃣ Public transportation: Take the high-speed rail to Lianjiang Station, then take a taxi to Minyun Lianjiang Passenger Transport East Station, then take a bus to Qida Village, and then climb to Qiguanding on foot.

1️⃣ It is necessary to hike to the top of the flag crown. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothes

3️⃣Be careful when playing in the mountains. It is very windy here. There are no guardrails in some places where you can take photos. Be sure to stand firmly⚠️
