🚗 Transportation Guide:
1. Self-Drive: From the Pearl River Delta, navigate to "Lianzhou Underground River." The highway route offers beautiful scenery along the way.
2. High-Speed Rail: First, take the train to Lianzhou Station, then a 30-minute taxi ride (around ¥60) to the scenic area.
3. Bus: Transfer from Qingyuan to Lianzhou by bus, then take Bus 201 from Lianzhou Bus Station directly to the site—though this option takes a bit longer.
🍜 Food Recommendations:
1. "Three Blacks & Three Whites": Black tofu, black glutinous rice, black fish; whitewater fish, white-cut chicken, and ginkgo nuts—all Lianzhou specialties and absolutely delicious!
2. Street Snacks: Dongpo water dumplings, Xingzi beef dumplings, and radish cakes—cheap and tasty, a must-try!
🏨 Accommodation Suggestions:
1. Longtan Resort Hotel: Located right next to Huangchuan Three Gorges, with beautiful surroundings and a romantic light show at night. Some room types include breakfast and hot spring tickets.
2. Lianzhou Grand Hotel: Situated in the city center, convenient for transportation and surrounded by great food. Ample parking for those driving.
📸 Photography Tips:
1. The cave is dimly lit, so bring a tripod and turn off your flash to protect the stalactites.
2. For stunning shots: low-angle shots of the "Southern Heavenly Gate" silhouette, wide-angle frames of stalactite clusters, and telephoto shots of boats and stone pillars—every shot will be a masterpiece!
💡 Pro Tips:
1. The cave maintains a constant 18°C (64°F), so bring a light jacket.
2. Wear non-slip shoes and avoid leaning too far over the boat edges for safety.
3. The scenic area's restaurants are average in value—consider dining in Dongbei Town or downtown Lianzhou instead.
