The location is unbeatable: Just an 8-minute walk to Zhongyi Market, where you can grab dewy Lijiang snow peaches in the morning, enjoy freshly grilled cheese with rose jam at noon (a flavor that will leave you dazed), and explore the night market with chicken feet in hand in the evening. The bus stop for Route 101 to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is right next to the homestay, so you can catch the early bus without rushing. Even the main street of the Old Town is just a 10-minute walk away, offering a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience.
💘The terrace is a stolen moment of romance: Wake up wrapped in mountain mist, sip coffee on the terrace, and watch the sunlight gradually turn the tiled rooftops a warm yellow. You might catch a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains in the distance, with the scent of osmanthus in the air.
In the evening, the sunset paints the sky like orange candy, and as the Old Town lights up one by one, you can sink into a beanbag chair, dazzled by the stars and city lights, breathing slower with every moment.
Late at night, we borrowed a small table from the owner, set up our own drinks, and enjoyed the evening breeze while listening to the sounds of the Old Town. This is what Lijiang should feel like!
🏞The room is "comfort in the details": The owner mentioned the house was newly renovated in 2024, with furniture and bedding that still feel "barely used" and impeccably clean. No strange odors at all. Winter stays are a dream, with heating and air conditioning so effective you can lounge in light clothing without shivering. The bathroom is equipped with a full set of toiletries, and the toilet is a standard model with strong flushing power and no residue. There's even a thoughtfully installed shelf for your phone and tissues—perfect for detail-oriented guests.
👫The owner treats guests like friends: Before check-in, they sent us a market food map and tips for dressing for the snow mountain. Upon arrival, we were greeted with freshly brewed Pu'er tea and just-baked flower cakes. Knowing I’m a light sleeper, they upgraded us to a quieter scenic room.
