Wenhai lake, Lijiang, Yunnan

Location: Lijiang, Yunnan, China
Transportation: Taxi from Baisha town (on high season it’s quite expensive)
Activities: walking by the lake, petting horses and cows, horse rides
Entrance: free

It’s a tranquil place where seems the sky meets the lake. The lake is so clear and it’s just amazing to walk by it. You can pet horses and cows by the lake they are very friendly.
Make sure to wear something warm and comfortable. The ground is covered with grass and sometimes you cannot avoid running water on the grass. We have seen many insects and little frogs so just be prepared for that and fully enjoy your time by this beautiful lake.
