I didn’t want to leave after staying at Zhaoxing Dong Village!

This chill guesthouse hidden in the Dong Village is absolutely amazing!
After a full day of exploring Zhaoxing Dong Village, the moment I opened the door to the guesthouse, I felt instantly healed! Having stayed in many Dong Village guesthouses, Xinghe Shanyu is truly legendary—I wholeheartedly recommend it to all sisters visiting the Dong Village 💖!

I was surprised as soon as I arrived at the door—the wooden building is tucked away in the ancient alleys of the Dong Village 🏮. Opening the wooden door felt like stepping into a gentle haven, and the owner even handed me a warm cup of Dong-style oil tea, which warmed my heart!

The room really stole my heart! I stayed in a mountain view room with an incredible view. The huge floor-to-ceiling window faces the rolling green mountains and the rooftops of the Dong Village 🌄. I woke up to birdsong in the morning, and when I pulled back the curtains, I saw clouds drifting among the mountains. Every photo I took was like a masterpiece for my social feed! The interior features natural wood and cotton-linen style, and the bedding is so soft it feels like being wrapped in clouds ☁. Even the toiletries are niche aromatherapy brands—so many thoughtful details that touched me deeply!

My favorite part is the guesthouse’s common area! The small courtyard on the first floor has rattan chairs and greenery 🌿. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a cup of tea in the sun while listening to the owner’s stories about the Dong Village. No need to rush the itinerary—this slow, chill vibe is so comfortable. At night, you can watch the stars from the second-floor terrace. Far from city lights, the starry sky is so clear it feels like it’s right in front of you—romantic enough to scream!

The location is super convenient too! It’s just a 5-minute walk to the main street of Zhaoxing Dong Village, close to the Drum Tower and Dong song performances, but still away from the noise of the main street. It’s especially quiet and peaceful at night, perfect for sleeping 🛌. The owner also thoughtfully plans travel routes and recommends local favorite eateries, so you won’t make any food mistakes!

Next time I come to Zhaoxing Dong Village, I’ll definitely choose this place again! If you want a guesthouse in the Dong Village that’s “comfortable to stay in, beautiful to look at, and has a thoughtful owner,” Xinghe Shanyu is definitely the right choice—you won’t want to leave once you arrive!
